Thank you for posting this. I intended to read the whole thing, but I just couldn't get there. I had to bail out less than a quarter of the way through.

Two questions: 1) What the hell is this woman doing at a TECH school? 2) Just what, exactly, is her major?

Ken, just when you thought it couldn't get any stranger, and yes, how can this exist in such an institution?

There is some funny crazy ass sh*t in this paper, I may do a "best of" or top 5 for a few extra laughs.

Merciful!

I would say "let's go!" , but it's a reach from Ohio. Guess Mid-Ohio will have to do.

Well, I tied to read it again - but sorry - it's just not happening! Can't do it!

It's amazing to me that these people are even hired never mind hold down a job! What warped minds.

This is teaching our kids at university? Better they go to a trade school, but I guess that is just too far on the masculinity scale too.

I remember my days at college too, it seemed even then the people who thought they were smarter than everyone else and "more educated" liked the over use of "word salads" and big words, so I guess nothing changes, just the voracity of it all. Everyone has a point and they MUST make it!

Remember the cone heads?

My friend, I feel your pain. To that end, I will reward a free Petro-masculinity free road trip to any reader who can get through the entire article !

No need for teaching the trades to US citizens anymore, we have 10 million new illegals for that. Just keep collecting your check and vote Radical Dem😵‍💫

Ready for that road trip - not sure about the pain to get there!

Being an immigrant myself, and having to go through the right channels, I am not happy about the illegals. If they get to vote - I may have to move to a one man island, somewhere far, far away!

We still need skilled workers and I believe the trade schools need to step up.

As far as petrol-masculinity, let me share a story with you.... on LinkedIn, I found the most misogynistic group of people on the renewables pages. I had several men who were sure they could educate me, since all I was worried about was how solar farms looked, or I was too emotional. The bastion of corporate America and educated people, who are forward thinkers were a bunch of misogynistic butt wipes. So I'm all for petrol-masculinity!

Besides that I was a road rally girl who loves the sound of souped up cars ripping and snorting, through the dusk and dark of night on dirt roads. Ah the memories!

This is where we would be without toxic masculinity leading society. We would exist in caves with short life spans leading nomadic lives as we chase the local herds to provide for our families. Females above all seek safety and security. They have no desire to make things better. Who ever realized the benefit of a round object properly attached to a load making it easier to move had his women telling him to stop wasting time and get out there and kill something because she was hungry all advances in civilization came from a masculine male So let’s describe the world this fool would live in. First off she probably doesn’t exist because a long time ago some forefather got killed in the hunt or got an infection and since there is no concept of modern medicine died long before he could inseminate some girl. But let’s assume she was born she goes for days without food clean water is a concept that she could not understand even if they did since there is no fossil fuels there is no pump to pump water so she has to fetch it several times a day. Her value to her tribe is only in her ability to reproduce and raise the offspring she will be pregnant many times and she will be raped by the neighboring tribe males more than once. She will be lucky to live beyond 45 years and she will never ever consider that she isn’t a women. A world run by females is a world that would never advance because again they value safety and security above all and refuse to ever take any risks

I would have to disagree - being a woman, of course I would. Yes it would have been a hard life for either sex and I am grateful for the life I have had - due to oil and gas! But I also know who I am and so do many women and they are innovators. as well as men. I'm a genius when it comes to duct tape and baling wire, and I probably would have been out there inventing the wheel just to make life easier!

Many seek safety and security, but that is not just a women's thing... most men I know who are widowed, remarry within a few months, looking for safety and security and no doubt a cooked meal and clean laundry.

Many of the women I know don't feel that urge and enjoy the freedom over a false idea of security. I'd rather not look at humanity as male and female, but rather as people traveling on the same road. Some are smart, some are less than inspiring, but that's whatever they choose. Don't get me wrong, there is nothing like the company of a good, intelligent man to share time and ideas, so don't put me in the same class as this Cara person!
