As CGNP notes in their filing objecting to the WWGPI linked to at https://greennuke.substack.com/p/cgnps-opposition-to-the-wwgpi Merkel and Schroeder worked hand-in-glove to shut down Germany's well-maintained, reliable, and safe nuclear power plants. (See the final third of CGNP's filing.) Given how things are changing regarding European energy supplies, Germany would be very wise to get their nuclear power plants back online ASAP.

Germany has been committing collective economic suicide. I suggest goose down and Merino wool to stay warm - if they still can afford it?

I agree. I observed elsewhere that the BRICS campaign against Western nation's CO2 emissions - while ignoring the BRICS emissions - has the hallmarks of a successful psychological operation. The likely goal of the BRICS campaign is to neuter the West's militaries and economies.

Thanks Mate! I restacked! We have the same issue in Australia. There is a fracking ban in Victoria. There’s Gas in the area known as Gippsland here. It’s a shame the Greenies who I think are backed by China in this case have corrupted the government.

Off topic a bit, but interesting how Russia released testimony from captured Ukrainian soldiers that an objective of the Kursk offensive was to attack the Kursk Nuclear Power plant, which is still operating 2 RBMK-1000 Chernobyl style reactors, with 2 more being decommissioned. NATO trying to create a Chernobyl repeat in order to discredit Nuclear power?

And also Ukraine shelling the shutdown Chernobyl reactor, trying to create more Nuclear Fear Porn? And attacks at the Zaporizhzia Nuclear power plant in Ukraine, occupied by Russia.

These incidents are already being used by the Greenie cult to spread FUD about nuclear power.

I'm confident Kursk was selected because it is resource rich.

I find it hard to believe that the best this author can do is two dated reports. The USGS is dated 2015 but has three footnotes of 2011, 2006 and 1998. The second is a report from 2013 "written" by three executives of a single company. Either this is a very small firm or a vanity project to pad the resumes of the CEO, Senior VP and Senior Consultant, put together by wage slaves or freelancers; luckily it was before A.I.

Either way, they are too dated to be more than historical background. There has to be more up to date stuff on current production, proven reserves and new fields developing and coming into production.

Sure, Ukraine has extensive natural gas, but the neither old Soviet Union and the Russian puppets that ran it later chose not to or did not have the money to develop it. The Russians invasions of 2014 and 2022 shows that they now want it to prop up the crumbling Russian economy and imperialistic aims; "Lebensraum" in a different language.

Hello Mark, thanks for the note.

Point taken, but note the title and objective of the article.

On the other hand, reliable data on the "proven" Ukraine oil and gas and minerals reserves is notoriously hard to find and is unreliable; not surprising given the corruption throughout Ukrainian government and society.

This was recently re-illuminated with regards to doing a minerals deal with Ukraine, Nobody really knows if the mining will be economical. Our presence there is likely the primary purpose.

I found this article that may be of interest:
