I want to be outraged because Porsche is such an iconic brand, but that may be one of the problems, the climate communists despise icons, so are likely targeting those very companies for destruction. It will be quite interesting to see what happens when the weather turns cold in Germany

Thanks for stopping by Andy and your comment.

Many of the iconic/halo and lower volume brands are suffering from the EV boondoggle. Alfa is one example of that. Some sadly have reached out to China for funding as well.

It’s true. It is not clear to me this is a step forward. But i guess this is what to expect in a 4th turning. Destroy everything

The driving experience of a Porsche to me is quintessentially a screaming flat-6 behind me and a 6-speed manual under my right hand. It is a pure experience of man and machine and is completely lost with an EV.

I feel like any hobby or experience is more enjoyable and significant for humans when it hits as many senses as possible - smell, sound, touch, sight are all included in the driving experience I referenced earlier. Taste might somehow be incorporated in there somehow too haha.

The instant-torque of EVs provides some thrills but I feel the true driving experience is dulled significantly. Thanks for the article!

As further confirmation of the concerns raised in your update today of "Porsche's Green Fuel Gambit," the political advocacy of German Greens is partially funded via German taxpayers through the Heinrich Böll Foundation (hbs.) Here's an anti-nuclear power example post: "Renewables replace nuclear and lower emissions simultaneously," Craig Morris, 20 Nov 2019, Energy Transition - The Global Energiewende blog. https://energytransition.org/2019/11/renewables-replace-nuclear-and-lower-emissions-simultaneously/

An Initiative of the Heinrich Böll Foundation. © 2012 - 2024. The Heinrich Böll Foundation receives German taxpayer funded subsidies. The hbs has elegant offices in Berlin. The hbs also has offices in the West Bank of Palestine, Moscow, Russia, Beijing, China, and Washington, DC. Many of the policies of the hbs are socialist policies.

Always a pleasure to have you stop by Gene, and thank you for these links. I am almost speechless with regards to the subterfuge and false flags raised with regards to emissions reductions and the phase out of nuclear. And let us not forget that the windmills and panels will have to be replaced in roughly 10 years vs. At least a 60 year lifetime for a nuclear plant.

It is a shameful situation especially in regards to Heinrich Böll Foundation, and the theft of German taxpayer's Euros.

Thanks again for your comments and spotlighting these important issues, especially in light of your nuclear expertise.

You are welcome. I'm concerned about the international conflicts of interest in promoting unreliable, short-lived solar and wind (primarily sourced from Communist China) and pushing for elimination of safe, reliable nuclear power, which originated in the United States. Putin in Russia was the first national leader to attempt to use Russia's abundant natural gas supplies for political advantage against Germany vis a vis Russia's invasion of Ukraine starting in 2014. Putin was aided and abetted by former German Chancellors Gerhard Schröder and Dr. Angela Merkel.
