I remember reading, years ago, before China had become the powerhouse that it is, that they had different cultural norms. In the West, getting caught committing fraud reflects badly on the person committing it. In China, the onus is on the person who was foolish enough to be let themselves be defrauded. Looks like nothing has changed.

Great article - and I love the comment - ...says Inchcoombe. “But the culture is more one of systematic thinking building on other research, whereas the west tends to applaud individualism. China doesn’t seem to see the need for standout heroes in the same way.”

It is interesting how the different cultures work and how the thought process are influenced by that thinking. I have always thought that is why communism didn't work - people couldn't get out of their box, that would be too dangerous for the government ... capitalism everyone wants to think outside of the box, socialism made people to lazy to even think about the box!

Interesting on the patents, years ago my brother patented some fancy cooler for drones. Before the patent process was done - they were manufacturing a cheap version in China. He never patented another thing. Of course he didn't tell me that until I told him I was in the patent process myself - he said don't bother... I had calls from China before the day was out!

Had a good laugh at your Biden images, great morning coffee material - thanks

☕🌞Thanks for the comments JF. Sorry to hear that your brilliant brother was ripped off like that. I have heard similar stories including entire factories and products being duplicated - the PRC architects and engineers copied the plans and started their own business down the road, literally.😡
